Description: Raymond Yale (David Roberts) and Carla Smith (Claire van der Boom) square measure lovers during a little Australian city living across the stream from each other. However, each square measure already married; Raymond to a loveless adult female and Carla to a oppressive petty mobster Greg “Smithy” Smith (Anthony Hayes). Ray and Carla attempt to leave their several spouses and run away along, though Ray insists that they delay till he has enough cash to make sure a brand new life along. As a foreman overseeing the development of a brand new leisure resort for property developer Gil Hubbard (Bill Hunter), Ray has been doing underhanded deals with artisan Barney (Kieran Darcy-Smith) for the hefty kick-backs that he hopes can eventually land him enough to escape with Carla.
