Description: Ted Wiggins is AN idealistic 12-year-old boy, WHO lives in “Thneedville,” a walled town during which everything is artificial and manufactured from plastic, metal, or synthetics. Ted incorporates a crush on native crusader Audrey and decides to search out a true tree so as to impress her. His energetic Grammy Norma on the Q.T. tells Ted the legend of the Once-ler, WHO can tell anyone concerning trees if brought fifteen cents, a nail, and a shell of a great-great-great grandpa snail. once Ted leaves Thneedville in search of the Once-ler, he discovers that the skin world may be a contaminated, empty waste. The Once-ler agrees to inform Ted concerning the trees if he can hear the story over the course of multiple visits. Ted agrees despite a confrontation with the civil authority of Thneedville, Aloysius O’Hare, the greedy businessman of a bottled O company, WHO pressures the boy to remain in city. Ted continues to slip away of O’Hare’s sight (with his grandmother’s encouragement) and learns a lot of of the trees’ history.
